Year 2 Class Assembly

30 January 2015

Year 2 shared a selection of poems. We learned poems to say together as a class and in smaller groups. We even put actions to some poems. We wrote some rhymes about creepy crawlies and shared those too. We painted pictures to illustrate the rhyming book Under the Bed by Paul Bright and Ben Cort that Sam had chosen from the library. This also helped us choose the theme for our poetry assembly. Our favourite poem was a traditional rhyme called Mrs White had a fright. We hope our parents and friends enjoyed our performance as much as we enjoyed performing for them.
