Blessing of the Pets service

Today, we celebrated the Feast Day of St Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals, with a special prayer service led by Fr Gerry.

We were joined by some very special four-legged friends as we gave thanks for the joy and companionship they bring to our lives. Together, we reflected on St Francis' love and care for God's creation and thought about how we can all play our part in caring for all of God's creatures and our wonderful world.

We are grateful to everyone who brought their pets along and helped make this such a memorable occasion.
