The Play Sanctuary

Where Little Ones Bloom 🌻

Welcome to The Play Sanctuary

The Play Sanctuary Ltd is a family-run, Ofsted-registered childcare provider offering breakfast and after-school care at St Gerard's Catholic Primary School.

We provide a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment where children can relax, make friends, explore their interests and enjoy meaningful play beyond the school day.

Our approach recognises that every child is unique. Through creative activities, games, imaginative play, outdoor experiences and opportunities to develop independence, we aim to create a positive and enjoyable experience for all children.

Our Mission

To provide a nurturing, inclusive and stimulating environment where children feel safe, valued and empowered to learn, play and grow in confidence.

We believe every child deserves a place where they belong, friendships flourish and individuality is celebrated.

Our Wraparound Care

We welcome children from Nursery through to Year 6.

Nursery sessions: Breakfast Club £6.50 and After-School Club £8.50.

Our Breakfast Club offers a calm and positive start to the school day, while our After-School Club provides opportunities for children to unwind, socialise and participate in a range of enjoyable activities.

What Makes Us Special?

• A family-run service with a personal, caring approach.
• A strong commitment to safeguarding and children's wellbeing.
• Inclusive provision that celebrates each child's individuality.
• A balance of child-led play, creative activities and enriching experiences.
