We celebrated NSPCC Number Day. The children came to school dressed up as a number ready for a fun-filled day of Maths activities.
The aim of the day was for the children to see, think and do Maths in a range of contexts and to show that everyone is a mathematician with Maths everywhere around us not just in a Maths lesson.
Throughout the day, the classes took part in a whole range of activities from TT Rockstars battles, to problem solving, to scavenger hunts and active Maths. It was a fantastic day that showcased the amazing Maths work that we do at St.Gerard’s.
